New roof

Well, after much emptying of full buckets, I now have a new roof! Yay. It's hunter green and is stain resistant, so it doesn't get those black streaks on it. They got it all done in one day. I am so glad I can put up the buckets now!

Holiday World

We went to Holiday World on Saturday. The weather was great, maybe a little humid, but not too hot and not sunny at all. Since this is a holiday weekend, the crowd wasn't that bad either. In the afternoon, after much of the crowds had moved over to the waterpark, we were able to ride the roller coasters without any wait at all, other than waiting for the next car to come. That was really nice. Something else I really like about Holiday World is that they have free unlimited soft drinks. Even better, they are Pepsi products. Too bad the Diet Pepsi is caffeine free. Well, beggars can't be chosers I guess! Oh they also have free parking & free sunscreen.

Preschool graduation

This evening was my daughter's preschool graduation. The program was really great; all the kids did an incredible job singing. I am so glad that she has been able to go to a Christian preschool. It's hard to imagine that she will turn 5 this summer, or that I will turn 30 in just a few months.

So many things have changed, and I'm not the person I used to be, yet it seems like I keep going around some of the same mountains again and again. When will I ever learn? Really, I've learned a lot the last several years, and I like to think I am learning something new everyday.
